APS | Thermal Energy Storage Solutions: Efficiency & Savings (AIA-EiQ-247)

Description
General CEUs: 1.0 CEUs
Estimated Completion Time: 1 hour, including course content and additional resources.

Thermal energy storage (TES) has existed for some time, but its relevance faded into the background. Now, increasing demands on the electricity grid are bringing this technology to the forefront again. The ability to generate and store energy during off-peak hours for use during peak-demand times provides financial and sustainability benefits to customers without sacrificing performance. In the correct situations, TES can also offer operational resiliency. Given its advantages, manufacturers and engineers are developing new approaches to this technology. TES is a viable option for multiple project types, and rebates are now available – even for some formerly installed TES systems. Trade allies are in an ideal position to bring this re-emerging technology to appropriate customers, help them gain efficiencies and position themselves as valuable business partners.
